It is of great excitement to share that SEG Ltd. have been appointed as Building Services Engineers for this iconic addition to the Tauranga CBD.
Positioned between Harington Street and Hamilton Street with an entrance via The Strand, this new eco-building is placed in an ideal, central location. The developer, JWL Investment Trust (JWL), is a property investment entity based in Tauranga has undertaken many high quality, large-scale developments in the Bay of Plenty. The project manager is J2 Projex Limited, the architects are First Principles Architects and Interiors.
The development will offer 75 safe underground carparks, motorbike and bike parking spaces. The ground floor will offer multifunctional spaces with an Atrium and Gallery. The upper three levels of the building have been designed as quality working environments of 1,675m2 per floor with maximum flexibility of office space, excellent natural daylight and ventilation, together with mechanically controlled spaces.
The Northern Quarter Team is working hard towards a 5 Star Green Star rating. There’s a lot to consider when it comes to creating healthy, sustainable spaces. Green Star takes a holistic approach, considering not just direct environmental impacts like materials or water use, but broader transport, indoor environment quality, and management implications of a project.
